Strengthened itself with establishing a factory located in Keşap, Giresun in 2006, AKIN SOCKS IND. and TRADE INC. now makes all of its production in Giresun and manages its all processes of logistics, marketing, finance and customer relations efficiently from its Istanbul headoffice. According to data of Istanbul Textile and Apperal Exproter’s Association (ITKIB), AKIN SOCKS IND. and TRADE INC. is among the top 5 in its sector in terms of production figures and turnover and is among top 500 companies in terms of textile export volume according to the data of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) .

We have a very large scale product range produced from a variety of raw materials of cotton wool, nylon, acrylic, polyester, modal, tencel, seacell, gippe, cashmere, bamboo,yarn constructions. AKIN SOCKS IND. and TRADE INC.’s having many of the production processes in house(Press, embroidery, washing department, rosso, confection) gives us the uality and flexibility in lead times and also advantageous costs.
With 900 computerized machinery, AKIN SOCKS has the capacity to produce 300.000 pairs of socks per day. Besides toe closing machine group, with its innovative approach, it enriched its high technology machinery with adding jacquard and embossed knitting line considering today’s fashion. With toe closing machines producing flatbed, designed, embossed, terry, reverse terry, jacquard socks production, it is able to respond to the increasing demand in the market.
With its great variety of machinery regarding the number of needles and cylinder diameters called pus, it offers its customers ladies, men, kids and baby product lines. Being able to perform six-color, double drop knitting with its single cylinder toe closing and single cylinder open toe machinery, AKIN SOCKS IND. and TRADE INC. is one of the most important leading companies in the sector.
